Notice of upcoming board meetings

Wednesday 30 September
Time: 8.30am–3pm
Location: Central Districts Water meeting room, Palmerston North City Council Civic Administration Building, Te Marae o Hine, 32 The Square, Palmerston North.  

From 1 July 2027, Central Districts Water will be responsible for water services for Horowhenua, Palmerston North and Rangitīkei District.

Central Districts Water is jointly owned by the three councils, and they continue to be responsible for water services until next July.

Work is now underway on establishing the organisation. This includes regular meetings of the independent Board of Directors. 

The remaining meetings for this year are scheduled from 8.30am to 3pm on the following dates:

• 28 October
• 18 November
• 16 December

Board meetings are held at the offices or facilities of Horowhenua District Council, Palmerston North City Council or Rangitīkei District Council. Please check the location before attending. 

Meetings occur in areas that are not publicly accessible without swipe card access. If you would like to attend a meeting, please contact secretary@centraldistrictswater.co.nz before 5pm the night prior to the meeting.

The agenda for each meeting will be available on this website two days before the meeting. 

Minutes of the previous meeting will be available on the website as soon as possible following their adoption at the next board meeting. 

The meetings are not recorded or streamed live. They may finish early or involve travel to sites. Please refer to the agenda before the meeting for details.
